MINDFUL
PLANNING
OBJECTIVES & GOALS
Either you’re a paper planner, digital planner or none, we all have our ways to sort and organize our tasks. But there’s always a constant debate on which method: paper planner or digital planner works best. Living in an information age where technology is advancing, digital planners can take a huge role in our daily lives preventing clutters and offer efficient ways to organize our events. However, we can’t deny the power of pen and paper, writing everything down like the old-fashion way.

For this case study, my goal was to design a hybrid planner bridging the gap between digital and paper calendars to make planning more enjoyable, purposeful and accessible.
TASKS
Ideation, Interviews, Affinity Map, Sketching, User Flow, Personas, Wireframes, Prototypes and Insights.
My first approach was to determine the strength and weaknesses for both paper and digital planning and find a middle ground between the two platforms.

As a result, this led me to conclude to three insights:
1. Connectivity - how well does the user feel connected?
2. Mindfulness - how can we create a space where users can mindfully organize reducing stress?
3. Creativity - how can we make planning more enjoyable?
